Micon System

Poker pro Bryan Micon has re-released his best selling "Micon System" to the poker world. The new and improved "Micon System" is now called "The Micon System 2: Full Disclosure". Sounds like a Hollywood sequel, if you ask me.

Despite sounding like a bad Steven Seagal movie, the "Micon System 2: Full Disclosure" provides poker wannabes with an absolutely amazing amount of poker knowledge from a guy who's dominated online poker and had just as much success crossing over into the offline pker world.

"Full Disclosure" has over 4 hours worth of audio straight from "Micon the Icon".

Micon can be a bit of a "goofball" at the table, but his is a PROVEN winning player, both online and offline. He's an especially tough tournament player, which is where the big money is won online.

I have to say, "The Micon System 2" is the real deal. This definitely isn't some SCAM site thrown up by some poker wannabe trying to make a quick buck.

Micon delivers the exact strategies that took him from a small time internet player and turned him into a pro. And he does so in a way that is simple and easy to understand.

Plus because the "Micon System" is an audio product, you can upload it to your Ipod and listen to it anywhere.

"The Micon System 2: Full Disclosure" is a poker product you don't want to miss, especially if you're an online player. Make sure you check it out before your competition does.

Which Type Of Poker Are You Best At?

Which Type Of Poker Are You Best At?

By Roger Wembley

Which kind of poker are you best at? There is no quick way to find out and only keeping poker statistics can help you. For math wizards, you may do this manually and be sure that you never forget a game. Or if you feel that you need a professional to help you, you may use a program at websites such as www.checkyourbets.com.

Once you know which poker you are good at, you should be able to answer another important question: Why are you winning most of the time at one variation of poker and losing often at the other? Is it because you have mastered the technical aspects of the game? Or is it because you are simply topnotch at the people aspects of poker? The technical skills of poker involve being adept at poker math, such as pot odds. The people skills involve bluffing and being able to modify the style of play.

You will find that poker players have different opinions about which of the two types of skills are more important. Many poker blogs are dedicated to their theories. However, here are personal theories about skills and games that you may want to check out.

In Longhand Limit Hold'em, the most important advantage of a poker player is his technical skills. The winning player must be patient and understands hand value. Your people skills won’t contribute much to your winnings. It is hard to bluff and it is useless to read your opponents since many hands reaches the showdown. The pot odds make a river fold make a river fold extremely chancy.

Your people skills will be more useful in Shorthand Limit Hold'em since there is more bluffing done, compared to Longhand Limit Hold'em. A winning player in Shorthand Limit Hold'em knows precisely when to increase his aggression and when to cool his heels. But you must not forget that it is still a limit hold'em poker. Mastering pot odds is still vital in winning the pot.

To win in a No-Limit Hold'em, both sound technical abilities and fairly accurate people skills are needed. Your technical abilities should include knowing when to call, to raise, to check, or to fold. Your people skills involve the reading of styles of your opponents. If opponents are timid, you can win and steal a lot of pots by bluffing. But you must also know when to fold if your opponent shows obstinacy. If your opponents are reckless and loose, you can win by patiently waiting for that opportunity to trap them. Then, wipe them out in one hand.

If you have a “gambling spirit”, you may be able to tolerate the huge swings in the Pot-Limit Omaha. The winning player should also be good at avoiding a tilt. A tilt is to play poorly or wildly after losing big or winning over awesome players. In Pot-Limit Omaha, you should be an expert at dealing with your opponents and at controlling yourself. Have fun.

How To Win Poker...Is There A Sure Way?

How To Win Poker...Is There A Sure Way?

By Ace Blackwood

As poker is very popular today and a favorite game to play among Americans, one may ask, if there really is a sure way to win at poker.

The answer is simple. Study and check out these guidelines, try them at poker time and see for yourself.

Before starting to play the game, keep in mind these simple suggestions:

* Inspect the site. Make sure that it is authentic.

* Read the terms and conditions of the site. Check the maximum payouts and the minimum bets.

* Allocate a budget for the day. That budget will determine how much you are willing to lose or to win in the game. Stick to the limit.

* Do not gamble if you can not afford to lose.

* Practice playing the game. Familiarize yourself with the game first before you play for real money.

At the table, here are some warnings that you should always remember:

* If you do make a big win, do not be greedy, stop. Making a big win and gambling it all over again is a big sign of greediness.

* In poker, overall winnings are what count most. If you are losing, or have already lost your allotted money for the day, don’t try to win your losses back. You won't. Stop. Tomorrow is another day.

* Drinking alcohol is a big no no at poker time. It can serious affect your judgment. So stay away from it while on the game.

* Never take side bets. Usually these are just gimmicks, so that more money will go to the casino.

* Never gamble your hard earned money unless you are very much ready to lose it.

While in the game, here are some important ideas to think about:

* Gaze at your opponent's eye. Survey all their moves. Observe them, to better know them. This way, you will fear them less. This way, you will know when they are bluffing or not.

* Play in silence. Have that conversation with your self as well as think deep to your opponents actions. Concentrate.

* Base your decisions on what the reality is. See all movements as they are. Do not fear, instead, be calm and assess their moves accordingly.

* Don't take it personally. At the poker table, it is always unavoidable that your opponent can irritate you. Never give in to such responses. Stay within the good game. Be cool and objective. This is a bluffing game. But do keep in mind that just because your opponent has bluffed earlier, it does not mean that he does all the time. Think tight. Review each move.

* Think about what your opponents have. Create a situation. So when deciding, you'll have a better chance to be right.

* Know when to stop. Is the hand that you are raising now the hand you folded a while ago? This is a sign that you should go home.

* Play to enjoy. Do not play if you are sad, bored or tired. If you can't play having enjoyment as your goal, then don't play at all!

How To Earn a Living From Online Poker - Free Tips

How To Earn a Living From Online Poker - Free Tips
By Orvel Jones

Playing poker and coming out on top at the end of a game requires a lot of things to keep in mind. Most important is that you lose as little money as possible when you don't have a winning hand. And winning as much money as possible when you know you have the best hand and that you will be able to play it right thus and milking your opponent's for as much cash as possible. You will have to correctly and instantly calculate your odds and react perfectly so it works to your advantage and ends up giving you the most money.

Those are just the basic knowledge in poker. You will also need lots of patience which is by far one of the greatest resources you can have as a poker player. You will constantly seek to improve your game.

The key to making money in poker is playing your hands correctly, estimating and calculating in such a way that you can put yourself in the best possible position to make the best plays you can, lose as little as possible, earn as much as possible, and give yourself the best odds of winning a hand. And even if you do plan all of this correctly there are times where it won't work and another player may outdraw you or score a card that completely throws your plans out the window.

Going into the game with hopes that you will win it big are just dreams. Making your dreams come true isn't easy but is well worth the effort if its something you seek to do in life and this is not just related to poker. Does it sound tough and do you have the knowledge? Will you be able to buy that special Ferrari that you dreamed about?

I have played poker for a couple of years, mostly for coffee money. After I started play with a poker calculator I went from a second-rater to a constant winning poker player. The program helped with tough decisions like when to fold, call or raise. I could make one of my dreams come true - buy a brand new car. If you want to become a high roller i highly recommend this kind of software, its an easy way to fortune.

Micon System Review - Is Bryan Micon a Scandal?

Micon System Review - Is Bryan Micon a Scandal?
By David Gardner

Playing online poker for a living is hard. In fact, not losing any money from playing poker is not easy. I have personally lost a lot of money playing poker in the past, so much that I almost gave up on poker, a game that I loved so much. Despite buying into many poker systems written by poker “professionals”, my poker skill always seemed to remain at the same level. I applied the same strategies from these strategy guides but my results were always the same, losing. A few months back, I read about the Micon System on the internet. After reading many positive comments and Bryan Micon, I decided to give the Micon System a try. I will tell you about what you can expect to find in the Micon System, as well as my own experience with it.

The first thing I noticed about the Micon System is that it costs $97. This is a relatively high price to pay for a poker product, since most other poker guides cost less than that. I still bought it due to the large number of positive reviews for it, and the other poker guides were not helping me either. I was more concerned with the quality of the product and content more than its cost. I was also worried that even if Bryan Micon might be a good player, his guide might not be well written for me to improve.

After buying the Micon System, I noticed that it is very different from every other similar poker strategy guides that I have read before. There is actually a lot of information in the guide and plenty of new ideas that will give you plenty to think about. Included in the Micon System is a written guide, along with videos and audio of Bryan Micon himself. I got very excited after reading through the guide and watching the videos. The Micon System is clearly written by a very professional point of view, and immediately got me thinking about many aspects of poker which I had never thought about before.

Section 1 of the Micon System is a very helpful bankroll management section. It teaches every player what correct limits he or she should play at, and how to build your bankroll slowly and consistently.

Section 2 of the Micon System teaches you step-by-step on how to make money from poker cash games. This is a very important section of the Micon System to understand if you plan to make money from playing poker. You will learn many unique strategies like hybrid styling, and learn to play every position in order to have the best chance of winning.

The Sit N Go domination in section 3 of the Micon System teaches you how to win more sit n go tournaments. You will learn exactly when to push the big blind and small blind in every scenario.

In the last section 4, you will receive videos and audio, and be able to watch Bryan Micon’s every move as he wins money playing poker. By watching his videos, I have learnt to handle almost every type of situation I encounter, and come out a winner consistently.

The Micon System is not a very easy guide to understand. If you plan to buy the Micon System, you will need a lot of dedication and effort to fully understand what it teaches. Once I understood the Micon System though, I felt like I had a breakthrough in my poker skill. Nowadays I’m able to make more final tables and win more Sit N Gos using the strategies in the Micon System, and winning more money. If you need professional advice on how to improve on your poker, Bryan Micon is the one to turn to.
